Desiree is a writer and teacher and So Cal native. She has a MFA from Antioch University Los Angeles. She also holds a BS degree in paralegal studies and a teaching credential from California State University Long Beach. She is the author of Lucky John (2020) and The Delany Bennets (2023). Desiree is currently working on her 3rd novel, a historical fiction drama set in Galveston during the original Juneteenth.
