Diana Kho Nguyen was Born and raised in Los Angeles. Nguyen is a multimedia artist and award-winning poet whose work has appeared widely in literary journals such as Poetry, American Poetry Review, Boston Review, PEN America, and The Iowa Review, among others. Currently, she lives in Denver where she is a doctoral candidate in Creative Writing at the University of Denver.
Jackson Burgess is the author of Atrophy, winner of the 2017 Write Bloody Submissions Contest (Write Bloody Publishing), and Pocket Full of Glass, winner of the 2014 Clockwise Chapbook Competition (Tebot Bach,2017). He has placed work in Rattle,The Los Angeles Review, The Cincinnati Review,Cimarron Review, and elsewhere. He has led workshops at the University of Iowa, Los Angeles Southwest College, and St. Vincent’s Cardinal Manning Center on Skid Row, and is the recipient of fellowships from the University of Southern California and the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, where he earned his MFA in both the Fiction and Poetry programs.
Juliana Xuan Wang is the author of the debut short story collection, Home Remedies (Hogarth, May 2019). Juliana was born in Heilongjiang, China but after age seven, did most of her growing up in Los Angeles. She currently lives in New York City.
Tawnysha Greens received her PhD from the University of Tennessee where she served as the fiction editor for Grist: The Journal for Writers. Her work has appeared in PANK, Bellingham Review, and Weave Magazine. Her first novel, A House Made of Stars, was released from Burlesque Press in 2015.

Angela Aguirre is a published poet, performer, teaching artist, and advocate for students with special needs. She is the co-founder of the Latina Feminist poetry collective Chingona Fire which works to curate events and workshops for women of color in Los Angeles.
Aman K. Batra Indian-American poet from Artesia, CA. As the child of immigrants, Batra is untraditional in her approach. If there’s a rule, she’ll break it. If there’s a boundary, she’ll push. If there’s a pen or a microphone in front of her, she is at her most powerful and unapologetic self. Batra graduated from UCLA in 2014 with a degree in Creative Writing, and have since immersed herself into written and performance poetry, competing in venues and slams across the country. She is a National Poetry Slam finalist, a member of the 2016 & 2017 Hollywood (DPL) Slam Team, and a teaching artist in Los Angeles and Long Beach county.
T.K. Le uses fiction and poetry imagine a future in which patriarchy dies and people of color deserve and proliferate joy. She has shared her work on KPCC’s Take Two and on stage for ALOUD-Los Angeles and Tuesday Night Project. Her essay, “Part of Memory is Forgetting,” appears in the W.W. Norton anthology, Inheriting the War. She is an alum of the VONA/Voices summer writing workshop.

Jaha Zainabu is a L.A. poet and author of 365.2013 (World Stage Press, 2017).
PoeticMoment tell stories. She started performing Spoken Word at the young age of 14. She has headlined many events including UNPLUGDLA, On The List, and Fly Poet. She has also toured throughout college campuses including Cal State Fullerton, Pomona College, University of California Riverside, and University of California Los Angeles.

Peggy Dobreer is a poet who has just released her second book of poetry with Moon Tide Press, Drop & Dazzle. She is a longtime educator and currently offers her poetry workshop with Red Hen Press.
Rick Lupert is a poet, and has created the website Poetry Super Highway. He also hosted the Cobalt Café reading for almost 21 years. He’s authored 22 collections of poetry and edited several anthologies.
