The Two Day Literary Festival Includes Dozens of Readings, Panels, and Literary Performances and Features Over 150 Authors at Venues Across the Pasadena Playhouse District

Pasadena, CA (February 21, 2018) –

Save the date for the 7th annual LitFest Pasadena coming up on May 19 and 20, 2018. LitFest Pasadena treats Southern California audiences to an exciting and thought provoking weekend full of diverse literary readings, panels, performances, and activities for all ages and interests. It’s held at venues and on sidewalks throughout the Pasadena Playhouse District.

Over 2,000 guests and 150 featured authors attended LitFest Pasadena 2017, and the festival continues to grow. This year’s program begins each day with literary workshops from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, followed by panels and readings from 3:00pm to 10:00 pm. Events will take place in and around Pasadena Playhouse District businesses. LitFest Pasadena will also present the “LitFest Outer Limits,” an opportunity for community reading series, poets, performers, and musicians to engage audiences in literary happenings on sidewalks and in courtyards, making for a vibrant festival atmosphere.

Starting this year, LitFest Pasadena programming will be held in the late afternoon and evening hours under the bright streetlights of the Playhouse District. In keeping with our new schedule, we are proud to present our new logo and design, which features lamp posts shining in a night time setting.
