Boris Ingles was born and raised in Los Angeles, in the small community of Boyle Heights. He combines poetry and photography, as means for visual and emotional expression. His poems have appeared in Spectrum, Spectrum 2,Cadence Collective: Year Two Anthology, Then & Now: Conversations With Old Friends and most recently, the Coiled Serpent Anthology.
Elder Zamora Elder Zamora is a writer residing in Southern California. He holds a degree in English and is a curator of the San Gabriel Valley Literary Festival. His work has been published in various journals including Left Hook, Barnstorm, Soundings Review, Libertad and others.

Jennine Capo Crucet is the author of Make Your Home Among Strangers and the story collection How to Leave Hialeah. She is the recipient of numerous literary prizes and her work has appeared in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Review, Epoch, Prairie Schooner, Ploughshares, and other magazines. She is an assistant professor of English and Ethnic Studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Maria Amparo Escandon is a best-selling bilingual novelist, short story writer, screen writer, and film producer. Her work has been translated into over 21 languages and is currently read in more than 85 countries. Her first novel Esperanza’s Box of Saints was published in 1999, and her second novel, Gonzalez and Daughter Trucking Co. (and its Spanish version) published in 2005. The film Santitos, based on her novel and screenplay, was produced by John Sayles, and received awards in 14 film festivals worldwide.
