Ask a Children’s Author: Nick Eliopulos via Newport Beach Public Library – Online Kids Facebook Live Event

Join Ms. Liz in asking her fiend, Nick Eliopulos, all about writing fantasy books for kids! Nick has written several of the Spirit Animal books, the Minecraft Wordsworth Chronicles, and co-authors The Adventure Guild.

Log on starting at 10:00 am to watch Ms. Liz and Nick as they discuss writing and answer your questions. A recording of this even will be available for viewing on our Facebook page afterward. Check out our link if you want to submit a question before the event.

NaNoWriMo Workshop Series via Simi Valley Public Library – Online Event

Join us for a Virtual NaNoWriMo Workshop series, with session #1, “Getting Started,” and start brainstorming your new novel!

This annual event is a creative writing project in which participants attempt to write a 50,000-word manuscript during the month of November, to jump start their project. Join our virtual workshops to collaborate with others, for feedback and fun.

The Ebell hosts author and speaker Alison Rose Jefferson, who will share her research and findings contained in her book, Living the California Dream: African American Leisure Sites during the Jim Crow Era.
