Los Angeles Literature Events: 06/24/24 – 06/30/24

Pride Month is coming to a close, but there are still chances to see local LGBTQIA+ writers read this week and for the rest of the year. There is also the return of the 3rd Culver City Book Festival at Wende Museum from 10am – 4pm. The festival showcases the work of local authors, publishers, journals, and literary non-profits. Local writers reading this week are: Orange County Poet Laureate Gustavo Hernandez, Gina Duran, Jonathan Parks-Ramage, Teresa Mei Chuc, Conney D. Los Angeles Literature Events: 06/17/24 – 06/23/24

It’s the third week of Pride Month and this week to celebrate the L.A. Poet Society is hosting the 4th Annual Queer Writers Festival. There are still other events this week including: open mics, book clubs, readings workshops, kids and teen events and even LGBTG+. Local writers reading this week are: Jesenia Chavez, Lynell George, Jose Hernandez Diaz, Jenise Miller, Sesshu Foster and Daniel Jose Ruiz, among others.
