It’s the middle of book festival season in the Greater Los Ángeles literary community. This weekend, The LA Get Down Festival continues at the Greenway Court Theatre and YALLWEST, a literary festival for middle and high school age readers, takes place Saturday at Santa Monica High. The 10th Annual LA Get Down Festival starts this weekend at the Greenway Court Theatre in the Fairfax District and runs every weekend through April celebrating hip hop and spoken word. Plus, this Sunday is the Viet Book Fest at the Bowers Museum, Santa Ana.
