Los Angeles Literature Events: 04/29/24 – 05/05/24

This week the Los Angeles literary community is in the thick of literary festival season. There are five literary festivals next weekend: Lit Fest in the Dena in Pasadena, the Festival of AAPI Books in Long Beach, the first annual Heavy Manners Literary Fair at the Heavy Manners Library, Third Edition Viet Book Fest in Santa Ana and week one of the 3rd Pomona Valley Poetry & Book Fest at the L.Á. County Fair. Plus, all the usual literary events. Local writers reading this week include: Viet Thanh Nguyen, Daniel Olivas, Michelle Brittan Rosado, Pete Hsu, Carolyn Huynh and Reem Ali Adeeb, among others.
