Another week literary festivals. There are two: 2nd Annual Santa Ana College Poetry & Literary Festival on Wednesday and Thursday and Lit Fest in the Dena on Friday and Saturday. Many local poets and writers will be featuring from Oscar Velasquez, Brenda Vaca, Dana Johnson, CB Lee, Teresa Mei Chuc and Francesca Lia Block, among others. Los Angeles Literature Events: 4/06/26 – 4/12/26

A busy week in the Greater Los Angeles literary community. The 10th Annual LA Get Down Festival starts this weekend at the Greenway Court Theatre in the Fairfax District and runs every weekend through April celebrating hip hop and spoken word. Plus, this Sunday is the Viet Book Fest at the Bowers Museum, Santa Ana. Local writers featuring this week include: Van Hoang, Cindy Nguyen, Pam Ward, Megan Dorame, Raffi Joe Wartanian and J Saravia, among others.
