Liv Amiri is a sixteen year old writer who attends Crossroads High School in Santa Monica. She has been previously recognized by the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, Beyond Words Literary Magazine, and Just Poetry Quarterly. Liv is also a resident columnist for Story Monsters Ink, as well as a script reading intern for Stampede Ventures Productions. She is currently drafting a collection of poetry titled Sleepwalkers Like the Sun, to be published this fall. At school, Liv champions for literary freedom through a Banned Books Club that she heads, which will explore issues such as censorship and the suppression of educational resources and diverse themes in the literary and publishing world.
