This week there will be no list of weekly literary events. Los Angeles Literature is taking its summer break. There are still many literary events to attend and local writers to see read.

There are readings and open mics such as: Flight School Open Mic Wednesday from 8pm-12am, SWAAM Spoken Word Art & Music featuring Selah Blak Sol at Park Hills Community Center, 5245 Overdale Dr., Los Angeles, CA 90043, Friday from 8pm-11pm, A Poetry Reading with Holaday Mason, Mariano Zaro, and Judith Pacht at Beyond Baroque, Friday at 8pm, Tonalli Thursdays Open Mic-Virtual, 7pm-9pm, and The Déjà Vu–Live: A Performance by Gabrielle Civil at Beyond Baroque, Saturday at 7pm, among many others.
