Interview by Yayett Peralta
Lisbeth Coimen is a L.Á. writer who has wandered the immigration path from her native Venezuela, to Canada, to USA, leaving pieces of her heart scattered in the places she’s lived.
Lisbeth is an empty nester whose dances salsa, and enjoys the hiking trails of the Southern California coast. She will continue to move around before she sets to spend the rest of her days peacefully in a small city with a good dancing scene.
Childhood friend Yayett Peralta interviews Coimen about writing, her memoir I Asked the Blue Heron, her other career as an adult education instructor and life itself.
