At age 21 he was diagnosed with ALS, and thought the disease weakened his muscles and limited his ability to move and speak, it did nothing to limit his mind. He went on to do groundbreaking work in cosmology and theoretical physics for decades after being told he had only a few years to live. But this plan outrages the citizens, who rise up in Revolution. In the ensuing chaos, Frunz must brave the streets swarming with rebels in search of the Golden Mean. This work is, by turns, prescient, punchy, cautionary, and fearless.
