Join us for a literary luncheon with author Tembi Locke to discuss her book, From Scratch: A Memoir of Love, Sicily, and Finding Home.
It was love at first sight wen Tembi met profession chef Saro on a street in Florence. The only problem was traditional Sicilian family did not approve of hem marrying a black American woman, and an actress no less. However, they forged ahead, adopted a baby girl, and reconciled with his family.
