Dryland Lit is seeking Book Reviews for publication on its website. Book reviews are published year round. They like pieces that are illuminating and well thought out. If you would like them to review your recently published book of poetry, short story collection, or novel feel free to send them an inquiry. They prioritize book reviews written on books by people of color, but welcome all book reviews.
Dryland, based in South Central Los Angeles, started in 2015, founded by editor-in-chief and life long South Central resident, Anna Lilia Ureña. They have just released their second print issue and seventh issue over all. Dryland describes Los Angeles as the land of all skin colors and all classes.
If you are a writer who enjoys writing book reviews, entering the larger conversation of literature, or want to hold authors accountable for the ways in which they discuss their themes and idea, Dryland is a great venue. Remember, book reviews are accepted and published year round.
