The 10th annual Pan-American Studies Forum hosts Nikki Giovanni, world-renowned poet, writer, activist and educator. A prominent voice in the Black arts Movement, with a revolutionary perspective on political, social, and cultural experiences, her range is expansive and diverse. She has written books for children and adults, creative nonfiction and spoken word albums. She has been awarded 25 honorary doctorate, a NEA fellowship, numerous NAACP Image Awards, and many other honors and awards.
