The “Los Angeles Times Festival of Books” is the largest book festival in the country. Over two wonderful spring days next weekend, you’ll have a chance to meet your favorite authors, hear live music, see original works of art and photography, listen to poetry and even taste culinary creations that reflect this city’s diversity. Enjoy panels where Los Angeles authors such as Francesca Lia Block, Alex Espinoza, Janet Fitch, Naomi Hirahara, among other writers from around the country and the
world, discuss how and why they write. Listen to great poets such as Los Angeles poet Laurel Ann Bogen, Los Angeles City Poet Laureate Luis Rodríguez, Carol Muske-Duckes and National Book Award Finalist Claudia Rankine among many more read their poetry at the Poetry Stage. Bring the kids and teens to the YA Stage and the Reading By 9 Children’s Stage to see performances and readings by celebrities and their favorite authors. And much, much more!
