This website is to celebrate all that is Los Angeles literature. As of now the website is still a work in progress and more will come. Los Angeles Literature will celebrate the vibrant history of literature in Los Angeles. This website already has up a list of novels, short story collections, poetry books and nonfiction set in or about Los Angeles. The list is ever expanding and each book is linked to a review, if I can find one. Other pages will be devoted to the writers that make up Los Angeles literature or who have laid the groundwork so many decades ago with links to critical articles about them and their importance to the city and its literature. There will be lists of literary venues, bookstores, open mics with links to their websites where all their events and times will be posted for your perusal.  On the main page will be posts for upcoming literary events to insure you the public, wont miss out on the powerful words being penned in the City of Angels.
